* If Other, please specify :

Colour/Pattern : orange tabby

Date of Birth (if known): September 01, 2024

My Foster Likes (a few words or one sentence) : Making biscuits during cuddle time, playing with his brothers, finding a quiet corner for a nap, checking out the other household cats through the door.

My Foster Dislikes (a few words or one sentence): Loud disruptions

My Foster`s Ideal Home Would Have (a few words or one sentence): A companion, lots of attention on his terms and somewhere warm to make the biscuits.

Good with cats?: Yes

Good with dogs?: Unknown but should be fine

Good with children?: Unknown but should be fine

Would this kitty enjoy an animal companion?: Yes

Temperament: Mix of needy and independent

Ideal type of household?: Low activity, Medium activity

How long will it take kitty to settle into a new environment?: A few days

Foster cat`s bio for their adoption profile: Found at a surface paving site with his brothers, Sledge Hammer is the smallest of the construction crew. This sweet orange tabby finally has the road tar off of his feet and is ready to settle down. Sledge Hammer may be a little shy at first but once he knows he`s safe, he`s ready to work his way into your heart. He loves his brothers but is also independent enough that he would be fine on his own.

More about this rescue

Since 1996 SCAT Street Cat Rescue's prime focus has been feral cats because of the limited options available for them. TNR is a successful option instead of the traditional trap and kill. The majority of the cats rescued by SCAT, however, are socialized and available for adoption. As the city grows, so to does the need for our services. Adopt, Donate, Volunteer, TODAY!
