Our regular adoption fees are $50 for cats and $75 for dogs (6yrs and older are 1/2 price). Kittens are $85, puppies are $135. Many of the animals' adoption fees have been sponsored by animal lovers or discounted for special circumstances such as for senior pets, or pets that have had longer shelter stays. Renters must have landlord approval. An adoption application is required and a dog introduction is required for dog adoptions into homes with other dogs.

The Morgan Adoption Center is open Monday through Saturday from 11:00 to 5:00. We also have an adoption kiosk at PetSmart on Hilltop Drive in Redding, which is open Wednesday through Sunday from 11:00 to 3:30.

Our mission is to promote humane treatment of animals through sheltering, spay/neuter, adoption and community education. We provide animal rescue, evacuation and sheltering services during disasters and provide animal regulation services for the City of Redding and City of Anderson. We have two State Humane Officers on staff to investigate animal cruelty cases. We operate on private donations and hold two fundraiser each year, the Doggie Dash in April and the Bark & Wine & Brew in October.
