My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

EXTREMELY FRIENDLY BOY REQUIRES PEOPLE WHO LOVE TO PET AND CUDDLE. KIDS OKAY. VERY PLAYFUL, NEEDS TOYS. SILLY CAT BUDDIES ENCOURAGED BUT NOT REQUIRED. NO DOGS. I have the cutest looks that make you say WOW when you see me. I have the personality to match! I instantly adore all people that meet me gently, and then we can be silly. I will show off and beg for pets and more pets, and then pet you back. I`m a lot of fun too pick up and hold too. I like to snuggle with my brothers during down time, and I`m sure to enjoy snuggling with you and coming to sleep with you. My brothers aren`t as silly and playful as I am yet. We can play well together and have fun wrestling, but if they`re not in the mood I have fun with my toys all by myself. It will be great to have you join with our wand toys to have fun with me! I like electronic toys that spin around, like butterflies in the air or things to chase around a track. My personal favorite is the toy that moves under a sheet with a butterfly on top (from Amazon). Running through the cat tunnel and sitting inside with a toy is fun sometimes too. Especially fun when chasing my new friend or my wand toy when we play! I`ve been learning to climb, but I`m not smart enough yet to safely use a cat tree, unless it`s a really short one. Wait a couple of months to get me a big one, then it will be great fun! It`s easy to have fun with my brothers, but new cats take a minute to learn to trust. I will put on my meanest face and try to be scary to test them, but it doesn`t usually work because it`s too cute and they don`t pay attention. After they ignore me for a bit, I`ll go over and start playing with toys with them. You can help by having electronic toys on, or playing with both of us at the same time with our wand toys. Reward us with lots of love for being so good together. If you bring treats, break them in half if you can so they`re easier for me to gobble up. Pick me and you`re guaranteed to have a lot of fun and get lots of love!

More about this shelter

The Colony Animal Services strives to protect andTCAS LOGO-UPDATED nurture The City of The Colony’s lost, homeless, abused, injured, and sick pets. We seek to provide animals the opportunity to be reclaimed, adopted, rehabilitated, or rescued. It is the mission for the Animal Service Officers and volunteers to pursue a positive synergy and to serve the citizens and pets of The Colony.

Animal Services is committed to saving each and every animal that comes into our care. Over the last few years, we have improved our live release rate to 97%. We hold our standards high at keeping this percentage, and in doing so, we ask our rescue partners and citizens to help us pursue finding our animals forever homes.

Every year, we get over a hundred injured and sick animals that need our help. In order for us to help them, we use our donated medical fund to give them the proper care and treatment they need. The only way for us to provide this needed medical care is through our generous financial donors. Every penny donated is sent to our medical fund. Please help us continue this much needed medical care for our animals by donating. Even if you cannot donate, it is a huge help to share posts on social media.
