Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
SLIGHTLY TIMID, BUT VERY SWEET. NEEDS A SOMEWHAT CALM HOME AND NURTURING FOLKS WHO ENJOY CUDDLING. WOULD DO BEST WITH A SWEET CAT BUDDY. VERY GENTLE KIDS OKAY. HAS NOT BEEN AROUND DOGS. I am so stinking adorable! I have a few orange freckles in my bright white fur. My markings look like a sad clown face! I`m really not sad or shy, I just haven`t learned to be very brave yet, but I`m getting there quickly! I`m a super sweet darling and really do love being around people and being cuddled. If you will do that and help me learn to play more with my toys, I will become brave and confident and hold my tail up high as I walk around my new kingdom! I play with my little toys, and I play very gently with my brothers, but I`m not the go for it type that they are yet. Let`s have fun learning to play with wand toys and tossing a ball for me to chase. I might like to play with a ball chase tower. I love to swat at electric toys spinning around. The motion activated toy that spins under a sheet with a butterfly on top (from Amazon) would be a great toy to start with, everybody likes it! I LOVE running through the cat tunnel and playing with my toys there! I`ll get comfortable pretty quick and know that I am loved so I can relax and have some great kitten fun! I`ve been learning to climb pretty well, but getting down is still a little challenging. I won`t be skilled enough to use a big cat tree for another month or two, but I could use a really small one. Put some comfy blankets on the furniture and I`ll get good at climbing up to sit with you until then. I will enjoy having a warm cushy bed in a quiet part of the room when I`m not with you, put a stuffed toy in it to keep me company. You`ll always treasure me as this adorable and loving little boy that you helped be so brave!

More about this shelter
The Colony Animal Services strives to protect andTCAS LOGO-UPDATED nurture The City of The Colony’s lost, homeless, abused, injured, and sick pets. We seek to provide animals the opportunity to be reclaimed, adopted, rehabilitated, or rescued. It is the mission for the Animal Service Officers and volunteers to pursue a positive synergy and to serve the citizens and pets of The Colony.
Animal Services is committed to saving each and every animal that comes into our care. Over the last few years, we have improved our live release rate to 97%. We hold our standards high at keeping this percentage, and in doing so, we ask our rescue partners and citizens to help us pursue finding our animals forever homes.
Every year, we get over a hundred injured and sick animals that need our help. In order for us to help them, we use our donated medical fund to give them the proper care and treatment they need. The only way for us to provide this needed medical care is through our generous financial donors. Every penny donated is sent to our medical fund. Please help us continue this much needed medical care for our animals by donating. Even if you cannot donate, it is a huge help to share posts on social media.
