Bonded with his girlfriend Cavalier! Doberman is a 5 year old male and Cavalier is a 2 year old female. These two came from the same house that had turned into a hoarding situation. The owner decided that it was in the best interest of the animals to get some help and reduce her population. While most of the group enjoyed having some time away from the others, Cavalier and Doberman always stay close, and can be seen spooning on and off. One day, Cavalier was brought to one of the pet stores who allows us to utilize display windows for adoptions, and she began eating her litter. This may have been due to other reasons, but we believe that she did it so she could be brought back and reunited with Doberman. Doberman has been vaccinated, wormed, spayed/neutered and tested negative for FELV/FIV which is all included in the $70 adoption fee. If you would like to adopt this cat, you must come into the shelter for a meet and greet. We are open 12-4. (Closed Mondays & Wednesdays) All cats must leave the shelter in a carrier. If you do not bring one with you, one must be purchased at the shelter if available for $6.

The Medina County SPCA, founded in 1985, is a nonprofit organization supported solely by private donations and grants. We are not a part of any national associations or animal welfare groups. We are committed to sheltering and finding homes for sick, injured, abused and abandoned animals of Medina County.
Over the years, we have served thousands of injured,
abandoned, abused and neglected animals throughout Medina County. We also focus on pet-owner education and animal abuse prevention. Our Humane Officers employed by the MSPCA are used to investigate and pursue cases of animals in need.
