Hello, I'm Fluffy. My world changed suddenly when my owner passed away, but I'm adapting well. I'm a gentle soul, full of love and affection. I've always enjoyed the company of humans, offering purrs and headbutts in return for a gentle stroke. I'm a friend to all, never one to shy away from a new acquaintance. I may be a bit older, but my heart is young, and my spirit is lively. I'm seeking a loving home where I can share my warmth and companionship. Adopt me, and let's make beautiful memories together. I'm not a kitten anymore, but don't let that fool you. I still have plenty of love to give and purrs to share At age 10.

I am also part of the Take A Chance On Me Program. This means my adoption fee has been reduced for the right home.

As always, cats that are ready to be adopted are spayed/neutered, have age appropriate shots, are micro-chipped, dewormed/deflead, and FEL/FIV tested.

Our animal listings are updated daily to reflect any adoptions, sometimes even minutes after the adoption. Should you see an animal you are interested in please visit our website (ahimsahaven.org) to fill out an Adoption Application.

As we are an all volunteer organization, we are not able to answer phone/email inquiries about specific cats until your application has been submitted and approved.

Some animals are part of our Take A Chance On Me program and have a small adoption fee. You can see which ones on our website's "Take A Chance On Me" page.

Our adoption fees include spay or neuter, vaccinations. Ahimsa Haven Animal Rescue is a nonprofit organization, so your donations are tax deductible. Our adoption policies are as follows: We require a signed adoption contract, and payment of adoption fee prior to placement. Fee is refundable if the animal is returned within 30 days. We require that the animal be returned to our care, in the event the placement does not work out even if that is many years in the future.

Ahimsa Haven was incorporated in 1999 as a nonprofit animal rescue group. Our mission is to find good homes for abandoned, homeless and unwanted domestic animals.

Ahimsa is a term from an eastern religion that means "To do no harm, in thought or deed, to any living creature". Every penny we raise goes to the animals - no one gets a salary!
