My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Buddy originally came to us in March of 2024 and has been with us ever since. he was found as a stray running through Prescott and went from adapting to the streets to adapting to shelter life. A good dog doesn't even begin to explain him, Buddy knows some simple commands such as: sit, stay, leave it, and come. Although he will need some refresher training on them all. From what we have seen he gets along great with other dogs, although he does like to try to chase cats to become friends with them. Buddy is around 3 years old so he is starting to calm down, but still had quite a bit of energy. He also does amazing with kids of all ages.
We are asking for anyone to give him a chance to learn how to be a family dog instead of a shelter dog. Unfortunately if we can not find anyone to give this boy a chance, he faces the reality of being transferred out of our shelter and into another one for a chance with some new faces.
