Meet Zamboni, an incredibly resilient and playful puppy who is healing beautifully from orthopedic injuries to both of his rear legs. While he may always have a slight limp and one leg will likely remain shorter than the other, that doesn’t slow him down one bit! Zamboni is full of energy, love, and curiosity, ready to join a family that’s active and eager to continue his training. He’s looking for a playful household where he can grow stronger, have fun, and get all the love and attention he deserves. Zamboni may have a few extra challenges, but he’s sure to bring endless joy and adventure to the right family!

We have a simple adoption application and approval process. Our adoption fees vary by animal, but generally include neutering, age appropriate vaccinations, behavior and health assessments, and health insurance. In addition, all adopters have free access to our Adopter Support program for assistance with health or behavior issues that may arise.

Michigan Humane is the oldest and largest animal welfare organization in Michigan, taking in approximately 35,000 animals per year.
