A23497 Lady June is a brindle with white colored, approximately 7-year-old, 48-pound, spayed female, Pitbull.
She entered the shelter as an owner surrender on 11-08-2024 due to the fact they can no longer afford a pet.
Lady June is a friendly, calm, easy to handle girl here in the shelter. Our staff says she is a sweet girl that loves affection and giving kisses. She was easy to leash and tends to walk next to you or just behind you. Very easy to walk and excited to be out for a walk. They say she doesn’t bark at dogs walking by her kennel or when she is out walking. She sniffs and seems to have a friendly, curious interest in other dogs, as if she wants to play. She has had some training and will “sit” “shake” and “stay” upon command. The previous owner says she is house broken and has lived with other dogs and children but not cats. Lady June will be a loving, loyal family member in her new forever home.

Meet and greets with your family dog and shelter dog is encouraged. Dog and cat meet and greets are not allowed.

$80 for all kitten/cat adoptions. $90 for all puppy/dog adoptions. $35 for all rabbit adoptions.

Additional adoption info

The shelter is open to the public Monday through Saturday from 9:00am to 5:00pm, with adoptions closing at 4:30pm. The shelter is closed on Sundays and all government observed holidays.

City of Henderson Animal Care and Control is the only open admission animal shelter in the City of Henderson. We service the City of Henderson and the residents and animals within city limits. Our goal is to find forever homes for all adoptable animals and reunite pets with their people. We work with multiple rescue groups and allow any good adoptee to adopt from our shelter.
