My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Shelby was surrendered to the shelter 11/18/2024. Her owners had gotten her from someone else and she just wasn't working out in that home. She would often escape and go on the run. Their other dog and her didn't get along at times.
Shelby is a beautiful Pomski, Husky/Pomeranian. She is 20lbs of fluff! She is super sweet and full of energy. Would do better in an active home where she can play and go on adventures. We are still learning about her as they days go by since she is a new intake. She was spayed and is now up to date on vaccines. Partially housetrained. Adoption fee is $200

More about this shelter

Our shelter is staffed by only a few employees so we greatly depend on volunteers to help care for our animals.
We work very closely with rescue groups to help move our dogs out of the shelter quickly. Our goal is to never have to euthanize for space. We cannot do that without rescue assistance because our adoption rates are very low.
