Meet Spooky, a sweet and shy kitty who's looking for his forever home! Spooky is a gentle soul who may take a little time to warm up to new surroundings, but once he settles in, you'll see his loving personality shine. He might be a bit timid at first, but with patience and kindness, he will soon feel safe and comfortable.

Spooky would thrive as the only cat in the household, where he can enjoy all the attention to himself. He may also do well with older, cat-savvy children who can respect his space and give him the time he needs to adjust.

Additional adoption info

The first step in our adoption process is to submit an adopter profile through our website. We then encourage you to visit PARL at 34 Elbow Street and get to know the animals we have available. You do not need an appointment, and we invite you to visit us often. PARL’s goal is to assist you in finding your best match for a lifelong companion.

When you arrive, you’ll sign PARL’s visitor log, and staff will direct you to PARL’s cat rooms, small animal spaces, or dog kennels (depending on your preference.) We encourage you to spend time outside with the dogs, or petting our cats and small animals. Please ask questions -- that's why we're here.

If you don't find what you are looking for the first time, please come see us again! Chances are that we will have some new furry friends available for adoption, and one of them might be purr-fect for you!
