My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mustard is a happy and playful puppy who came to Mutts of the Midway at the end of September.

He gets an A+ for house training and is still working on his crate training, but is getting better at it day-by-day. He loves learning new tricks and he's very curious. He has gotten along well with his foster dog siblings and the interactions with children in the foster home have gone well. He loves attention and is a social butterfly. He would do great in a home that can give him lots of playtime, but also allow him to lay back and cuddle.

Find a pet you're interested online based on their profile and pictures OR at an event (adoption event, fundraiser, etc)

2.
Submit Application

Application is reviewed. References checked.

3.
Approve Application

If approved, schedule meet.

4.
Meet the Pet

Official meet and greet. If adopter and foster agree to move forward, on to next step.

5.
Sign Adoption Contract

6.
Pay Fee

$300 for dogs older than 6 months. $350 for dogs 6 months and younger.

Take the Pet Home

Our mission is to provide Chicagoland families with adoptable dogs from across the U.S. and provide local education and resources.
We are excited to embark on this journey as a new foster-based rescue. We are looking to create a strong volunteer base. If you are interested please fill out our volunteer application here.
