My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Yara! She’s a great dog. She’s sweet, playful and so cuddly.She loves her food time and will wait patiently until her bowl is set down. She loves her toys and will just take them and play outside on the lawn. She loves meeting new people and isn’t shy.
She’s house trained but sometimes now in the cold will not want to go outside (dont blame her there!)
She loves looking out the window on car rides, walking on the leash. Sometimes if she gets a hold of the leash she’ll start wanting to play with it. She walks great, would be great as a running partner.
She’s been in the same room as foster Moms cat and is curious but not aggressive. She easily leaves the room and forgets there is a cat. She does get very excited and will get right into your face all jumpy so we’re working on that.

Submit Application

Interview

You will be contacted via email for an interview if we need to clarify any questions on your application as well as a pre-approval process.

3.
Meet the Pet

We will set up a meet and greet with all humans in the home and the pet you’re interested in, then a meet and greet with any resident dogs.

4.
Home Check

Next we will conduct a virtual or in person home check and reference check.

5.
Sign Adoption Contract

After that you will sign our adoption contract, pay our adoption fee, and take your new family member home!

We respond to applications within 7-10 days. Dogs do not go home upon first meet and greet.

Go meet their pets

We have various meeting opportunities in person at local events in Northern California and Southern California. Soem dogs may or may not present, but dogs will never be allowed to be adopted at these events or sent home with anyone other than their fosters. An application and official meet and greet will always be required. We are a 501c3 dog rescue that focuses on bully breeds. Most of our dogs have had either behavioral marks against them or medical issues. Our mission is to Reform the Dog Agenda through intentional rescue & educating the community.
