My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Scooby-Doo: The Fetching Detective!

Got a mystery to solve and a ball to throw? Scooby-Doo is your guy! This good boy is the perfect mix of brains, brawn, and belly rubs. He gets along famously with his doggie roommates, forming his own little "Scooby Gang to sniff out the best spots in the yard. Speaking of sniffing things out, this clever pup knows exactly where the doggie door is and uses it like a pro to take his potty breaks outside-no mysteries there!

But here's the twist: Scooby-Doo loves to play fetch and is absolutely brilliant at it. We're talking championship-level fetch skills. He'll chase down that ball like it's the missing piece of a big case, and bring it back with a wagging tail and a sparkle in his eye, ready for the next throw.

Scooby-Doo is a loyal, lovable sidekick who's always ready for an adventure (especially if there's a snack at the end). Whether it's unraveling the secrets of a squeaky toy, nabbing the culprit who "borrowed" your sock, or perfecting his fetch game, Scooby's got your back. And no, you don't need a Mystery Machine-just a comfy couch, a ball to toss, and a pocket full of treats!

Adopt Scooby-Doo today, and let the adventures begin! Zoinks!

More about this rescue

A New Leash on Life has a goal of saving all the adoptable pets about to die in the municipal shelters of Alabama until we become a NO KILL state. We rescue, provide veterinary care, provide a foster home or adoption center spot, and find adopters who are good matches for homeless dogs and cats...AND horses, pigs, rabbits, and any other animal who needs our help. All animals are fully vetted, including spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, testing (HW for dogs, FIV/Felv for cats), and whatever else they need before adoption.
