!$6 Adoption Fee!
Meet Bert, a fun-loving and vocal pup with a big personality! He’s always up for a game of fetch, enjoys training exercises like the “find it” game, and loves his walks—though he may add some commentary along the way. Bert does well with structured introductions to other dogs, but if the play gets too rowdy, he’s quick to step in as the "Fun Police" to keep things under control. He’s excellent in his kennel, standing patiently for leashing, and takes treats with full enthusiasm. Bert would thrive in a cat-free home with an adopter who appreciates a playful, expressive dog and can provide structure and guidance. If you're looking for a charismatic companion who will keep you entertained, Bert is your guy!
Energy Level: High—loves fetch, games, and walks
Play Style: Enjoys toys and exploring but likes to keep dog play in check
Leash Skills: Pulls at first but improves with training
Dog Friendliness: Social but vocal—likes order in the dog world
Best Home: No cats, structured environment, adopter who enjoys a dog with personality

The Tulsa SPCA is keeping its main gate locked at all times in order to keep traffic to a minimum on our campus. All adoptions are virtual at this time so we will not be allowing visitors on the premises to meet dogs and cats. Thank you for your cooperation and patience.

More about this shelter
The Tulsa SPCA was founded in 1913 by a group of Tulsa citizens who were concerned about homeless dogs and cats and wanted to protect against abuse of draft animals used to do tilling on farms and heavy work in the mines and oil fields.
Our mission is to improve the lives of dogs and cats and engage the community to foster mutual well-being.
We value animals and believe that they deserve love, safety, and humane care. We provide safe, transitional shelter and medical care to all our cats and dogs. We place our animals into forever homes where they receive the companionship and care they deserve.
