Behavior notes:
11/16/24 volunteer notes: he was very easy to leash and walked well on the leash. Once in the yard, he ran around a little, but also was happy to get some love and cuddles from me. Very sweet, even with his cough. Gentle with treats as well, and knows the 'sit' cue. Who wouldn't love those fantastic ears! He barked once thru the fence when we first approached the yard, but was easy to redirect and walked away with me.
11/7/24 volunteer notes: Very lovely boy who loved treats and getting petted. Interacted with another dog through the fence in a positive manner. He was easy on the leash.
11/3/24 staff BEHAVIOR EVALUATION:
"KNOWN HISTORY:
Stray
KENNEL PRESENTATION:
Wonder Boy was at the front of the kennel when approaching and had neutral eyes, wagging tail, and was standing by the door. He was patient for leashing and exited without any issues.
LEASH SKILLS:
Pulls moderately
HANDLING:
In the room Wonder Boy pranced around exploring and then came over to us with soft eyes, a loose body and wagging tail. He allowed all over handling and would remain loose and wiggly, but can get quite jumpy! He was extremely food motivated and could be snatchy so watch your treat pouch and use an open palm when giving them to him. He would get impatient and jump up frequently.
