Meet Zoomy! A high-energy sweetheart with a love for playtime and a big appetite for life (and treats)! This wiggly girl adores people and thrives on interaction, whether it’s zooming around the room, playing tug with her favorite toys, or cuddling up for some love!
Zoomy is very food-motivated and eager to please, though tossing treats works best for her right now while she works to get back to a healthy weight. She trades toys easily and shows off playful growls during tug-of-war, making playtime with her extra fun.
Currently in need of a little TLC to help her reach a healthy weight, Zoomy is ready to find a special someone who can match her energy and give her the love and care she deserves. If you’re looking for an active, playful companion, Zoomy is the gal for you!
Eligible for rescue, foster, and adoption. Meet Zoomy at ACCT Philly any day of the week from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Behavior notes:
11/15/24 volunteer notes: Zoomy was a very friendly girl that readily came to me to get petted. She was highly treat motivated. Zoomy pulls on the leash. She behaved well through the fence with another dog. She is a very happy girl.
11/22/24 staff noted: Very dog reactive during her dog meet today. when seeing other dogs in the distance Zoomy would start hard barking, lunging on leash, and fixating. When trying a fence meet Zoomy escalated very quickly and began to snarl snap and react to the other dog.
Medical:
11/14/24: Condition(s) Noted: Poor body condition at intake. Dog should have follow up at an outside vet after adoption to ensure appropriate weight gain.
ACCT Philly is located at 111 West Hunting Park Ave in Philadelphia. We are open for adoptions 7 days a week. Please visit www.acctphilly.org/adopt for details.
If you are a rescue interested in pulling this animal, please email our lifesaving team, or visit here if you are not currently a rescue partner: https://acctphilly.org/acct-philly-love-local-partnership-program/
