My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Harold is a total kid expert—he’s been professionally trained by a (very enthusiastic) 3-year-old and 6-year-old. He handles their "hands-on" love like a champ, with patience that deserves an award! He’s great with other cats and hasn’t met dogs yet, but he’s the kind of easygoing guy who would probably adjust well.

When you first meet him, Harold might play a quick game of hide-and-seek, but give him a minute, and he’ll be out, ready to steal your heart with his charm and playful energy. He loves lap time cuddles as much as he loves playtime, making him the perfect mix of sweet and spirited.

Speaking of playtime, Harold’s got moves! Wrestling with his brothers? Oh, he’s a pro. Chasing jingly balls, toy mice, or zooming through tunnels? That’s his jam. The three-tiered ball chase toy is his absolute favorite, and after all that action, he’s ready for a well-earned nap to recharge for round two.

Harold would thrive in a home with another playful kitten or young cat to wrestle with. While he’s amazing with kids, it’s not a dealbreaker if there aren’t any tiny humans around. But if you’ve got them, rest assured Harold is a patient, gentle pal—even during the occasional roughhousing or loud play session.

He’s also a purr-fect gentleman: no litter box slip-ups, no scratching, no biting. He’s so chill, even the chaos of kid-level energy doesn’t ruffle his fur. And his foodie side? He’s all about those squishy tube treats and will come running when he hears the shake of a treat bag.

If you’re looking for a curious, playful, and endlessly affectionate companion, Harold is ready to pounce into your life and bring the love.

Adopting from HEA

FROM OUR FAMILY TO YOURS:
Adoption is a huge deal to us. We make a lifetime guarantee to our companions. In return, we’re asking you to provide a lifetime commitment once you’ve invited a pet to join your family. We’re excited that you're considering adoption. We look forward to working with you to find the right match!

TIMELINE:
Our primary objective is to assure the correct match for the people and the pets that we’re sending to their forever homes. Our goal is to send dogs and cats home as quickly as we can, while still being thorough. Processing times will vary and are largely dependent on our ability to connect with your references, landlord, and veterinarian. To keep the process moving along, please make sure you’ve done your part:
1) Fill out your application completely - missing information slows down the process.
2) Let your references know to expect our call.
3) If you rent, let your landlord know to expect our call.
4) If you currently have pets, ask your veterinarian to be prepared to release your records.

LIFETIME GUARANTEE:
We make a pact with every animal that enters our care: They’re promised a loving home for the rest of their life. In turn, when you make the commitment to adopt, we ask you to make a lifetime commitment. We believe family is forever.
