My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Ida, a super sweet girl who's ready to come leaping into your life. Ida is full of energy and has a lot of love to give. She would be an excellent companion for all things outdoors, from camping adventures to long hikes. Ida can be a bit jumpy but it's just because she can hardly contain her excitement. Once she calms down, she is a total lovebug. Ida would do best in a home with older kids who can handle all of her energy. If you're looking for a new companion, why not come and meet Ida?

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Adoptable animals are located at our Taft Campus at 2200 N Taft Hill Rd, Fort Collins, CO 80524 or for more info call 970-484-8516.

The first step to adopting a cat or dog from Animal Friends Alliance is to fill out an adoption questionnaire. You can do this online!

The next step is to pick out a cat or dog! Check out our adoptable cats and adoptable dogs for pictures and short descriptions or come into the shelter at our Taft Hill campus. We also have adoptable cats at many offsite locations.

Note: not all available cats and dogs reside at our campuses. Some are at off-site adoption partners or in foster homes. If you are interested in a particular cat or dog, please call our shelter at (970) 484-8516 to find out about their current status and location.

We do not ship animals. You are required to come and meet your new addition prior to adoption so that we can ensure a good match.

Please note that we will make a copy of the adopters’ State ID card, Driver’s License or passport at the time of adoption.
