This adorable Terrier mix may be a little shy at first, but with love and patience, Lillia will blossom into the most loyal companion. She's still working on building her confidence, so slow introductions are a must when meeting new people or exploring new situations.

She is learning the ropes of leash walking and would do best with a patient and gentle family willing to guide her at her own pace. Because she’s a bit nervous, she’d thrive in a calm home with kids aged 14 and up who can respect his need for space as she adjusts.

Once she feels safe, he sweet and loving personality shines through. She’s looking for a dedicated family ready to help her come out of he shell and show her just how wonderful the world can be. Could you be the one to give her the second chance she deserves?

The first step to adopting a cat or dog from Animal Friends Alliance is to fill out an adoption questionnaire. You can do this online!

The next step is to pick out a cat or dog! Check out our adoptable cats and adoptable dogs for pictures and short descriptions or come into the shelter at our Taft Hill campus. We also have adoptable cats at many offsite locations.

Note: not all available cats and dogs reside at our campuses. Some are at off-site adoption partners or in foster homes. If you are interested in a particular cat or dog, please call our shelter at (970) 484-8516 to find out about their current status and location.

We do not ship animals. You are required to come and meet your new addition prior to adoption so that we can ensure a good match.

Please note that we will make a copy of the adopters’ State ID card, Driver’s License or passport at the time of adoption.

Our spay/neuter clinic performs surgeries on both cats & dogs, and we also offer low-cost vaccination clinics every week.

Our organization's goal is to do everything in our power to prevent euthanasia due to 'homelessness'.
