My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Avril is a stunning one-year-old female Husky mix with a vibrant personality to match her beautiful looks. This friendly and energetic girl is always ready for an adventure, whether it's a long hike, a game of fetch, or a romp in the backyard. Her enthusiasm for life is contagious, and she'll keep you on your toes in the best way possible! Because of her youthful exuberance, Avril can sometimes get a little jumpy when she's excited. For this reason, she would do best in a home with adults or older children (14+), where her boundless energy can be channeled constructively. If you’re looking for a loyal and lively companion who will bring endless joy to your days, Avril might be the girl for your family! Come meet her and see how quickly she’ll steal your heart! ❤️

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Adoptable animals are located at our Taft Campus at 2200 N Taft Hill Rd, Fort Collins, CO 80524 or for more info call 970-484-8516.

The first step to adopting a cat or dog from Animal Friends Alliance is to fill out an adoption questionnaire. You can do this online!

The next step is to pick out a cat or dog! Check out our adoptable cats and adoptable dogs for pictures and short descriptions or come into the shelter at our Taft Hill campus. We also have adoptable cats at many offsite locations.

Note: not all available cats and dogs reside at our campuses. Some are at off-site adoption partners or in foster homes. If you are interested in a particular cat or dog, please call our shelter at (970) 484-8516 to find out about their current status and location.

We do not ship animals. You are required to come and meet your new addition prior to adoption so that we can ensure a good match.
