Chona is a happy and energetic girl. In the home she is housetrained, crate trained, and not destructive. She likes to be wherever you are, whether that's playing in the yard or sleeping on the couch! She is a wonderful companion who walks well on a leash and rides great in the car. She has a moderate energy level and is great at "reading the room". If it's playtime she's sure to keep you entertained, but if it's time for a nap she's just as happy to lay her head on your shoulder and fall asleep! Who wouldn't want this wonderful girl!

Adopters are required to sign an adoption contract. Adult dogs are $50 which includes heartworm testing, worming, rabies vaccination, and parvo vaccination.It also includes a spay/neuter. Puppies under 1 year are $85.

Our adoption program primarily deals with dogs and cats, but on occasion we do have other furry friends. Our organization consists of animal control officers, employees, and many volunteers working together for the welfare of the animals. We are proud to have maintained a live save rate of over 96% for 5 years.
