Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Meet Clooney, the independent, smart, and loving guy who is ready to find his forever home! Clooney may be a little reserved at first, but once he’s had the chance to get to know his people and surroundings, his true playful side shines through. He’s a bit of a slow-burn when it comes to making new connections, but when he feels comfortable, he shows his loving and joyful personality.
Clooney has a special bond with his shelter friend, Toffee, a 9-month-old puppy who he loves to play with. Clooney takes on the role of a big brother or role model, showing off his playful side and helping Toffee learn the ropes. It’s a side of him that’s both sweet and endearing—Clooney truly thrives when he has a buddy to bond with.
Although Clooney is an independent dog who enjoys his space, he also craves affection and will come to you for cuddles and attention when he’s ready. He’s not demanding, but when he seeks affection, he really enjoys it! Clooney should do well in a home with younger kids who are respectful of his space and give him the time he needs to feel comfortable. For this reason, we’d recommend a household of 12+ years old or a meet-and-greet with younger kids to ensure the dynamics are a good fit.
Clooney has some simple joys in life: he loves butt rubs, outdoor walks, and playtime with his friends—especially with his squeaky toys. His ideal family will be patient, understanding, and willing to build trust with him over time.
Clooney should do fine in a household with other dogs given a proper introduction.
We are unsure how Clooney would do with cat friends.
If you're looking for a dog who is independent, yet loving; playful, but thoughtful; and most of all, ready to build a lasting bond, Clooney could be the perfect match. He just needs someone who can give him the time, patience, and trust he deserves. Could you be the one to offer him that? Come meet Clooney today and see what a wonderful companion he can be!
