My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Ernes-toe! Yes, his name is intentionally spelled with toe because look at all those toes!!!! He won the toe lottery, if there were one! Ernes-toe is a calmer, reserved kitten who is looking for a home to match. He is pretty quiet until it's time for snacks or treats, the sound of the bag rattling is enough to get him running straight over to you and start meowing. He loves laser lights and wand toys, but more than anything he loves his kitty friends. He may not be too into snuggling humans but you will find him with the other kitties in his foster home--he's a cat-kinda cat. He prefers one of his own kind. Don't get us wrong, he is a friendly boy who does a body roll and sticks his butt in the air during pets (especially pets during feeding time). Ernes-toe can be a shyer, independent guy often, and with that comes his unmatched skills of evasion, so introductions into his new home are crucial; having a small, confined space to build a new relationship and some trust is 1000% needed. Ask our staff for more details on ensuring he and his endless toe beans will perfectly intertwine into your home!

Ernes-toe has grown up with many kittens in his foster home and finds great comfort with their companionship, so we do require another cat in the house so he can continue to grow up confident and be able to exhibit natural feline behaviors in a productive and healthy way. Because he grew up uncertain with the unfamiliarity that indoor life offers, he would do best in a home with children over 8 years old and lower energy dogs (as long as proper introductions are enforced!), so they don't spook him and can better understand their boundaries.
