My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Bailey, a loving and gentle soul who may take a little time to warm up, but once she does, she’s a loyal and affectionate companion. At first, Bailey might come off as a bit shy or nervous around new people, but with a little patience and kindness, she’ll show you just how sweet and loving she can be.

Bailey’s ideal day includes fun with kids and then relaxation. She curls up on the couch beside you and enjoys your company. She’s a fan of quiet moments and loves to sit back and unwind in the comfort of her home. And when she feels especially close to you, Bailey has a truly unique way of showing her affection—she’ll gently lay her head on your shoulder and give you a heartfelt hug. It’s one of the many ways she expresses her love and trust.

In her previous home, Bailey did well with kids, including children as young as 5 and 6, previous owners state " She loves our boys she wants to run the house with them and she lets them lay on her and she loves them to just be with her". While she may take a bit to adjust, Bailey has a soft spot for the kids she’s grown comfortable with and enjoys their company.

One thing to note is that Bailey doesn’t like fireworks, and the loud noises tend to make her anxious. Her new family will need to be understanding of this and provide a calm, secure environment when loud sounds are present.

Bailey would thrive in a home where her adopters are willing to be patient and gentle, giving her time to come out of her nervous shell at her own pace. She’s a dog who appreciates kindness and will blossom with consistent love and understanding. With time, Bailey will become a deeply loyal companion, offering plenty of affection in return for your care and patience.

We are not sure how Bailey is around cat friends.

Bailey should also do great in a home with other dogs given a proper introduction.

If you’re ready to provide a calm, loving space for Bailey to grow, she’s sure to become your best friend—offering cuddles, quiet companionship, and a heart full of love.
