Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Oliver is a Courtesy Listing and is not housed at the Animal Shelter. Please note that the City of Bloomington Animal Care & Control accepts no responsibility for this pet. Potential adopters are responsible for communicating directly with the pet's guardian. Oliver is healthy and spry for a 9yo, and absolutely loves life. He is house and crate-trained, knows tons of commands, and is a real people-pleaser. He loves all people and kids and would do well in a family environment. Oliver is excitable and struggles with impulse control, and while he is very trainable, and has made great progress, the thrill of the chase with our cat has been too much for him. He should live in a home without cats or other small mammals. He was recommended for a home with other dogs when we adopted him, but our experience has been that he gets very excited and a bit snippy meeting new dogs. He could do well with another dog, but introductions should be careful and monitored by someone with dog behavior experience. This happy and sweet boy wants nothing more than to cuddle in bed with you and get belly rubs. Are you a cat-free home where Oliver could live his best, cuddly life? If you would like to inquire into adopting this pet, PLEASE EMAIL cathleenpaquet@gmail.com ***Please ignore the Apply to Adopt button for this pet & contact the owner directly***

Please come in and visit with our pets available for adoption. Once you find an animal you would like to adopt, you will be asked to fill out an adoption survey and meet with an adoption counselor. We do require landlord approval and we do not adopt out animals to live completely outside. Our adoption fees are $75 for dogs and cats under 5 years old and $55 for those 5 years and older.
