Zarya was adopted as a puppy from a local MD rescue after being pulled from a WV shelter with the rest of her litter. Her adventures only continued from there, she moved with us to California, back to Maryland, down to Virginia, and back up to Maryland again. She has both flown and ridden in the car cross country and is a great, well-behaved little travel buddy. She is a high energy, happy go lucky, silly little girl who absolutely adores (adult) people. She has good recall, knows basic obedience, and is very motivated to please. She does pull on leash, but we have found a front clip harness helps. Zarya would do best with an active adult or couple who don't plan to add to their human family with babies or small children, and who don't have other pets. Zarya is fearful and reactive towards kids and other dogs and has a strong prey drive. We will miss her terribly, she's truly the sweetest little dog, but she simply can't get along with her toddler brother.
