My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bronco is a 6 month old neutered male mix of pit bull or plott hound who weighs 43 lbs. He still needs more weight on him! He was on the euthanasia list along with his brother in SC. So our rescue pulled both brothers and brought them to Pa and neutered them! He is Heartworm negative and microchipped. Bronco is the most loving dog! He literally hugs you with his paws and kisses you all over your face and head! Did great with cat testing. No signs of aggression. He really deserves a loving family! If you are interested in meeting or adopting Bronco please text Casey at 570-441-0083. We adopt to the general public but we also adopt to military veterans with adoption fee waived in order to provide our heroes with companion or emotional support dogs . Our other adoptable pets our posted on our website as well as the very brief (5 minutes) application form. https://rescuepetsservingvets.org.

More about this rescue

We are a small group of volunteers that rescue pets with medical needs from a kill shelter. We treat them at our associated Vet clinic and make sure they are spayed or neutered and vaccinated. Pets are then put up for adoption and we try and match them with the right owners. We give special priority to veterans and we begin service dog training while pets are with us. Pets are fostered in our homes or at the Veterinary Clinic until homes are found.
