Meet Blizzard, an adorable Great Pyrenees puppy from our Winter Litter. Born as part of an accidental litter on a farm, Blizzard didn’t have the easiest start in life. Living outside in rough conditions, he and his siblings faced many challenges early on. But like a true force of nature, Blizzard is ready to leave his stormy past behind and find his perfect forever home.

Blizzard is a playful and affectionate pup who loves spending his time wrestling with his sister, snuggling close for naps, and discovering the joy of toys. Still a young puppy, he’s full of potential and will thrive in a patient and loving home that can guide him as he grows into the incredible dog he’s meant to be.

If you’re ready to bring a bit of Blizzard into your life and heart, he’ll be waiting to meet you and show you how wonderful life with a loyal companion can be. Blizzard was born in October 2024 and is being fostered in Fort Worth, Texas.

OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN TEXAS OR COLORADO BUT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AND TRANSPORT OUT OF STATE. Read below for more information.

All of our dogs are located in a foster home in Texas or Colorado. Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Mutts N Such direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc).

Our out of state adoption fee is $350 plus transport (varies by location). This fee includes all current vaccinations, deworming, a registered microchip, fecal analysis, spay/neuter for pets 6 months & older, and a heartworm test if over 6 months old. All dogs will be current on flea/heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days. Note: MNS reserves the right to deny any application that is deemed unsuitable for the animal. Please be aware that our animal adoptions are NOT on a first come- first serve basis. Our sole purpose is to find the best possible home for the animals that fall under our care.

The initial phase of our adoption protocol involves prospective adopters completing an adoption application.

Following submission, our administrative team conducts a thorough review, and if approved, the application is then forwarded to the animal's foster.

Subsequently, a phone interview is scheduled to address follow-up queries, provide additional information about the pet, and acquaint the adopter with our organization. If the interview is successful, arrangements are made for a meet and greet, along with a home visit. For pets adopted out of state, the meet and greet and home visit are conducted virtually.

The final steps in our adoption process include verification of identification, finalization of the adoption contract, and payment of the adoption fee.
