My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Miko is a happy little bundle of cuteness!  He is a loving, affectionate 2 year old miniature aussie-doodle. His ideal weight is 15 pounds and he is presently 6 pounds - and needs support to reach his optimal weight. We need to get Miko up in weight in order to get him spayed and finish his vaccine series.  We are looking for a foster who is willing to give him TLC and work with us on care.  He will need to be an only dog for now.

Miko loves long walks and has excellent leash manners. As a young dog, he has a good amount of energy, likes to be active and isn’t a couch potato. Miko likes to say hello to everyone he meets - he is very friendly to everyone.

Miko’s favorite place to nap is on the sofa and at night he is used to sleeping in bed with his human. He does very well as a snuggly bed-mate overnight - no incidents - and does not need to be crated. Miko loves snuggling - he is a morning snuggler especially! - and likes being held.

He is playful and would enjoy living and playing with another dog. Cats are an unknown; he seems friendly towards them.

Miko is a selective eater and prefers meat. His adopter will need to be prepared to feed him high quality products and meat.

PAW places dogs in the DC/ MD/ VA/ PA area.
