My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Houdini: The Magical Kitten Seeking His Forever Home!

Introducing Houdini, an energetic and playful grey and white kitten with a knack for making every day an adventure! This little whirlwind is ready to charm his way into your heart.

About Houdini:

  • Age: 15 weeks as of 10-14
  • Color: Striking grey and white coat that’s as unique as his personality
  • Personality: Full of energy and curiosity! Houdini is always on the move, exploring every nook and cranny, and bringing endless joy to those around him.

Special Bond: Houdini has a heart of gold and a special bond with his brother, Otto. These two are inseparable, sharing all their playful antics and cozy cuddle sessions. They thrive on each other’s company and would love to find a home where they can stay together.

What to Expect:

  • Playtime Enthusiast: Prepare for playful pounces, spontaneous zoomies, and endless entertainment! Houdini is always ready for a game of chase or a new toy to conquer.
  • Cuddle Champion: When he’s not exploring, Houdini loves to snuggle up for a cozy nap—especially with his brother Otto by his side!

Ideal Home:

  • A family or individual who loves to engage in play and laughter
  • Space for both Houdini and Otto to roam and explore
  • Commitment to keeping these brothers together as they continue their adventures in life

He is a 6 month old kitten who had a lip injury when he was rescued by PALS, so now he has a permanent smile on his face. He’s a wild guy with a beautiful medium length coat and puffy tail.  Although he and Otto aren’t biological brothers, they formed a tight bond after both suffered on the streets alone as tiny babies.

Help us make their dream come true—adopt Houdini and Otto today! ❤️✨

Note:  if you do not have any other pets, we require that you adopt TWO kittens.  This is for the benefit of the kitten for behavioral development.  Companionship is critical.  They will also entertain each other and you!

We offer a low cost spay and neuter package.

This cat has tested FeLV/FIV. negative, is current on vaccinations, parasite-free and litter-box trained.

More about this rescue

Founded 1996, the Pet Adoption and Lifecare Society received non-profit status in January 2000. Since then, we have placed hundreds of cats and dogs into loving homes every year. Our animals are temporarily loved and cared for in foster homes until permanent homes can be found. All of our cats are FeLV/FIV negative unless otherwise noted under special needs. They have also had all vaccines for which they are eligible. Some of our animals have incurable diseases and are placed in hospice care where care is given for life if a loving home that is able to care for special needs animals cannot be found.

P.A.L.S. has developed a model for rescue that is careful, effective and which has certain philosophies that govern our decisions. We are a true no-kill organization. The only reason we ever euthanize an animal is because it is suffering and the suffering cannot be relieved. We do not euthanize for logistical, behavioral or economical reasons. Every animal that comes under our protection has a place in P.A.L.S. for the rest of its life. Adopters sign a contract agreeing to, amongst other things, return the adopted animal to P.A.L.S. should they ever be unable to care for it.
