My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This sassy orange guy is TT. He is three years old and weighs 12 pounds.
TT is a smart and adventurous guy. He knows how to sit when asked. He is litter box trained. He is also leash trained! He loves to hang outside on leash and has a tendency to want to go exploring. So someone who wants to explore with him would be great.
TT lives with another cat, and does like to play. (Click on the red YouTube button to see him playing.) However, he can be cautious with other cats and would also be fine living as an only cat in a house.
TT is good with men and women. He starts out shy but also curious. He hasn’t been around kids.
TT is a chill, cool guy kind of cat who hangs around you but is still a bit of a loner. Well, that is until night time when he is ready to cuddle! He will cuddle all night.
TT is a smart, polite, adventurous guy ready for his forever home.
TT is neutered and current on vaccinations. He is located in Fullerton, CA. Adopters must be able to meet and adopt here. A home visit and vet reference are required to adopt.

Additional adoption info

We have some amazing dogs looking for just the right home.

To apply adopt a dog, you will be required to fill out an adoption questionnaire. We also require a home check and a vet reference. There is an adoption fee for each pet. The average adoption fee is $400 for puppies and $350 for adult dogs. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped.

We are a foster-based organization, meaning that all of our dogs are living with families in homes. We do not have a facility. Therefore, adoptions are made by appointment only.

More about this rescue

Our mission is matching herders to humans in Southern California.

Helping Herders Rescue is a foster-based 501(c)3 rescue dedicated to helping abandoned herding dogs recover, prepare for a family, and find great homes.

We believe that every dog deserves to be treated with kindness and respect.
We believe that good rescue involves foster homes.
We believe that special needs dogs are extra special, so we look for extra special homes for them.
We believe in the magic created when a great match is made between dogs and people.

With the strength of shared beliefs, the natural partnership formalized in early 2016 in the form of Helping Herders Rescue, including a small, dedicated, and greatly appreciated network of foster homes.
