My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Polestar, and I'm looking for a fresh start with someone who has a warm heart and a cozy lap to share. I'm a sweet petite senior lady, born around 4/06/09, with soft black fur sprinkled with little silver specks. My journey to Wild Blue started in Pampa, TX, where my previous owner sadly passed away, and now I'm hoping to find the perfect home to spend my golden years. I've had a full mouth extraction, so I don't have any teeth left. I'm on the skinny side, and now that my mouth is healing, I will enjoy my soft foods and get back on track. I'm a social eater too, so I snack a bit more when you're nearby and it's extra comforting. Also, I am declawed in my front paws. I'm trying a monthly medicine called Solensia to ease some joint discomfort in my lower back and help me move around more comfortably. This should also help me enjoy my favorite grooming sessions with you even more. Despite everything, I'm such a sweetheart. I enjoy lots of petting and being held, and I'll rest my head on your shoulder feeling secure and loved when I'm close like that. I know I come with a bit of history, but I promise the love I'll give in return will be worth every extra effort. I'd do well in a quiet, calm home where I can be the center of someone's attention. I could also live with another cat, as long as they're quiet and gentle like me and not the dominant type. Gradual introductions (as recommended by Wild Blue) would help make sure we all get along beautifully. If you think we're meant to be, I'd love to meet you. Please reach out and complete an application at www.wbcats.org/adopt and let's see if I could be your forever companion.November 20, 2024, 11:11 pm
