My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chili is a 2.5-year-old Terrier mix with a gentle heart and playful spirit. She’s a friendly companion who gets along well with cats and children, and she loves playing with dogs her size or smaller. While Chili may be a bit shy when meeting new people, her sweet and loving personality shines through once she feels comfortable. A slow approach, patience, and plenty of treats are the keys to earning her trust. Come meet Chili and see if she’s the perfect addition to your family!

More about this shelter

Founded in 1868, The SF SPCA is a community-supported nonprofit dedicated to saving, protecting and caring for cats and dogs. We do this through immediate care of animals that are homeless, ill or in need of an advocate, but we also work to educate the community, reduce the number of unwanted kittens and puppies through spaying/neutering, and improve the quality of life for animals and their companions.
