Meet Bonded Pair, Calvin & Sylvester!!!

Calvin and Sylvester came to us when they were found abandoned in an apartment in Detroit. Unfortunately they landed in an overcrowded shelter and we knew their time was limited.

Calvin & Sylvester are an adorable 5 year old bonded pair who love love love affection! Their preferred way to spend the day is being in your lap, purring and getting snuggles 24/7! They are friendly and love treats and toys. They are both litter box trained as well!

They enjoy cuddling with guests and will immediately put a smile on your face when you come home. They also love each other so much that they groom each other, which is the cutest thing to watch! Calvin will also snuggle up to your face and sleep on your shoulder. They are the perfect kitties for someone looking for a couch/snuggle buddy!

Peace Love and Paws Rescue is an all-volunteer, non-profit, animal welfare organization dedicated to the rescue and placement of stray, neglected and abused animals. Peace Love and Paws Rescue is completely funded through fundraising efforts and public donations. All of our pets are cared for by foster homes and receive complete medical care, which includes worming, vaccinations, spaying/neutering and microchipping prior to their adoption.

This questionnaire is designed to help Peace Love and Paws Rescue determine if a specific dog is the right match for you and your household. All adopting and fostering parties are required to complete this form prior to adoption. Peace Love and Paws Rescue reserves the right to deny any adoption or fostering based on answers to this questionnaire and/or interviews prior to adoptions and placing foster homes!

More about this rescue

We are three passionate, animal loving dog moms who met through various volunteer efforts at local rescues in the Detroit area. We continued talking outside of volunteering and quickly came to realize that we all had similar goals, to help as many animals in need that we possibly could. In the Detroit area, there are so many animals who need homes, medical attention, and love.

We decided that we wanted to be able to do more to help these animals. We are raising funds through selling merchandise, fundraising, donations, and supporting local community events. All funds raised will be used to establish a nonprofit status, fund the medical needs of local dogs, and find shelter animals their furever home.
