We rescued Max when he was a few weeks old, but we were told he was a Dachshund mix. However, he grew fast and we realized he was a pit mix. None the less we kept him as I had just retired and we could love him and train him. He does well with my children and other dogs and cats. Recently, we moved to El Paso and we began to work. The other pets do amazing while we are gone, but Max does not do well at all. He tore holes in the wall, made our home his restroom, and cried. We had to kennel him while we are at work or running errands. He regressed in his potty training and licks himself raw. We do not have the funds to have a dog walker or doggie daycare. We thought we would be home to always be with him, but things changed and we work now. Max did not take this too well and we are rehoming him to go to a loving family.
