Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Who’s the best dressed boy? Well of course, it’s Tux. As you can see from his pictures, he’s always dressed in his finest attire. Though this boy would much prefer an good play session in the yard, or a hike in the park, as opposed to a night at the opera.
Tux is about 50 pounds and approximately 1.5 years old. His foster, says she can go on and on about how great he is. He’s started potty training and is picking up on it quickly, though he does still need a bit more work on it. He’s been staying in a spare bedroom while his foster is at work and in the evenings and he hasn’t destroyed anything. His foster also states that she can touch his food bowl without him reacting, and the other dogs can take away his toys and he doesn’t seem to mind it at all.
He loves people and adores playing with other pups. He’s currently being fostered with 2 other dogs and he’s vey mild mannered even when they are being annoying. He loves roaming and sniffing around his foster’s yard, and has never tried escaping or chasing after anything (other than running after the other pups during playtime). His foster does have cats but he hasn’t been around them much. He did try to chase one once, but was easily called off by the foster and he didn’t seem aggressive so she feels that he was just curious and/or wanted to play.
In summary, his foster states that he’s so sweet and smart and that he’s been by far the easiest foster she’s ever had!
Tux was saved from being euthanized at a Texas shelter. He’s fully vaccinated. He’s currently still in foster in Texas, but can come to NJ on the next transport if he’s adopted.
