My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

***Thanks to a generous donation from Tika’s owners, all senior cat adoption fees are being sponsored through our Tika Senior Cat Adoption Promotion – including Freya's!

Freya is an ~ 9 - 1/2 year-old spayed female. She is current on her vaccinations and microchipped!

Meet Freya! Freya is a calm, low-key, and reserved older lady who is ready to find a loving and relaxing forever home where she can be pampered like the demure lady that she is. She is a shy lady who may be a bit unsure at first in a new home but she adores gentle pets once she gets a chance to know you. Although she may need some time to adjust, once she does she is a sweetheart who will surely make her favorite person the very best lap cat. She is otherwise a very mellow, laid-back lady who enjoys the simpler things in life such as relaxing next to a sunny window, lounging up high in a cat tree, and taking long cat naps in a cozy bed.

Since Freya is a lady in her golden years who may occasionally startle from fast movements and loud noises she is looking for a bit of a calmer and quieter home. So, she would prefer a home with slightly older respectful children at least 5 years of age or older who won't chase or scare her and understand that she may enjoy her independence at times. She previously lived in a home with both dogs and other cats. She did great with the other felines but would often hide when the dogs were around so she would do best in a dog-free home.
