Meet Melody! She is one of the sweetest most cuddly dog we currently have at Family Dog. She wants to be with someone all day everyday! She is GREAT with kids! She loves to get cozy in a bed/blanket on the cold and rainy days, but also loves to sun bathe. Mel came to Family dog with two big puppies. From day one Mel has been a dream to handle. Her puppies have since been adopted and Mel is waiting on her furever family. A big thing to mention is she let the kennel staff cut her toe nail with ease, never once moving her paw. Don't miss out on this smart, sweet, and cuddly girl!

Meet the Pet

Once your applicaton has been approved you will be invited to select a time to meet your potential pet.

We are looking for responsible, warm-hearted people to give our dogs the wonderful homes they deserve. Our adoption process is thorough but fast. We focus on making the best match between you and the right dog. To adopt, you will need to:

1. Complete the Adoption Application.
2. Meet the dog you want to adopt.
3. Show proof that you can have a dog in your home (lease, mortgage, letter from landlord).
4. Sign our Adoption Agreement and pay an Adoption Fee.

However we host regular adoption pop-ups at Pet Food Express Sonoma (Saturday's 11am-2pm) and on the first Sunday of the month can be found at Pet Food Express, 1975 Market Street, San Francisco.
