My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Bob, an almost four month old Catahoula Leopard Dog/Shepherd mix.

Bob came from a house that had a lot of dogs, way too many to handle. Several rescues have been involved in the process of helping to alter and rehome them. Bob likely has quite a few breeds in him such as the ones listed along with American Bully/Pitbull. We recommend doing some breed research prior to adoption to make sure Bob is the right dog for you. Bob is very scared, he lived on one property his entire life so everything has been flipped upside down. We are sure with a little time, love and socializing he will come out of his shell. Please remember that Bob is a puppy and puppy behavior comes with the package. They need basic training and potty training along with being provided chew toys to encourage proper chewing habits. All puppies require socializing from a young age to help them become the best, most well-rounded dog they can be.

Adoption Fees & Process
See current fees at www.yakimahumane.org
The adoption fees help offset the cost of evaluation, housing, feeding and medical care for the thousands of animals that need our help. We do our best to keep adoption prices reasonable while generating income to support our goal of caring for animals available for adoption until we can place them in a loving home. Adoption fees help provide medical care, food and shelter to the animals in our care.
