Meet Freddie, an almost two year old Shepherd/Catahoula mix weighing 75 pounds.
Freddie came from a house with too many animals and the owners quickly became overwhelmed as they continued to breed. Multiple rescues were involved in help to alter and rehome all of the animals on the property. When he first came to us he was quite timid and unsure, but those days are long gone. Freddie is a very enthusiastic boy who needs a bit of work on his manners, he is working on the off command and his mouthiness but once he is out of the kennel for about five minutes on his walk he really calms down. You can get his attention with a treat and then he is yours to command... You just have to teach him those commands. He knows `sit` and would gladly learn other tricks. Due to him still learning his manners we think he would do best in a home without young kids for now. However, once he goes through some basic obedience we would see him in almost any home environment.

Our mission is to help you find a pet that meets your expectations and lifestyle. You’re invited to visit with a prospective pet in one of our "Meet N' Greet" rooms. We also offer "Meet N' Greets" for adopters wishing to introduce a current dog to a potential new playmate.
