Hi there, I’m Ace, a handsome little Terrier mix about 2 years old, 15 lbs and I have one blue eye and a soft medium-length coat. I was rescued from a hoarding situation where all of us were dirty, crawling with fleas, and feeling pretty miserable. Several of us were brought to San Antonio through 4 Little Paws so we could live in foster homes while receiving wonderful care, getting vaccines, chips, spays, or neuters, with time to make friends and have some fun in the process. These days I’m feeling great and I am more than ready to find the life I deserve!
My foster mom says I’m a sweet boy, a bit shy at first but I warm up quickly and am great with people young and old, dogs and cats. I have a medium energy level and enjoy some playtime with my doggy friends but mostly I’m taking it easy and watching the other dogs play. I’m easygoing, great on a leash, doing great with housebreaking, only bark to alert, and I’m very affectionate. I hear many wonderful families on the East Coast would be happy to have a sweet little dog like me, so I can't wait to meet them and get my life started! Inquire about me today and bring me home!
* 4 Little Paws is based in CT. We adopt in many different states along the East Coast. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. If you are located outside the states we typically adopt to, we have options to get the dog of your dreams to your location.

Please DO NOT apply unless the entire family / household is on board with adopting one of our dogs. We must receive an application for you to move forward in the process. Thoughtful direct emails are welcome and will be answered. However, an application is still a necessary step. We want to make sure we find our dogs a perfect fit with a family so both the dog and the family are happy. We keep our dogs with fosters once we get them out of shelters for a little bit to learn and understand their personalities. Our relationship with families doesn't stop at adoption! We are always available for any follow up questions and are happy to be a resource as you and your new pet settle into a routine.
