My name is Georgie, and yes, I get HBO with those ears! I'm just 6 months old, but I've had a ruff start in life. I was abandoned on the street in a crate with no food or water. Some kind people found me, and now I'm soaking up ALL the love in my foster home! I'm the definition of a velcro dog — I will be at your side 24/7. I'll even sleep on your head if you let me. I love other dogs and older kids with dog experience and I love to play! I'm around 27 pounds right now, so I will be medium-sized when I'm full-grown. I'm super-smart and attentive and love positive reinforcement. Let's meet so you can see how fast I learn new tricks!

Applications and contracts are required for adoptions. An effort is made to make a home visit before the dog goes into the new family. The adoption fee ranges between $150 and $200. Included in the fee: spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchipping, heartworm testing, preventatives, and years of happiness and laughter.

LUV A DOG is a 501c3 non-profit rescue whose goal is to find homes for dogs that have either been strays, in shelters, rescued from neglect or abuse, or owner surrenders. Safe, warm, dry, and loved is the promise made to these homeless dogs.
