My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Wrigley boy! Oh my gosh, at about 9 years old, he is still somehow full of that terrier spunk! Fortunately, he's also at the age where he ADORES sleeping on laps, in the sun, on the back of the sofa, just living life! He gets along well with all of the other dogs, doesn't mind cats much at all, though he will occasionally chase them and give them a couple of barks! He's good with kids, completely house-broken, crate-trained, you name it, he's got it checked off in his skill box! He's a true catch, and seriously, he's perfect. Especially at his wonderful size of just under 20 pounds! If you are looking for the LOYAL love of a JRT, Wrigley is your perfect match!

More about this shelter

We are a non-profit organization out of Monticello, IA specializing in the care for dogs and cats that need us. Our care does not stay local, as we take transports from all over the United States, and adopt all over as well!

Our mission's primary focus is to help reduce the homeless pet population by finding homes for spayed/neutered pets, and helping educate WHY this process is so important, and the proper way to care for pets!
