Henrietta is a 2 year old female Hound mix, who is a girl full of fun and love! With her medium-size slender frame and joyful smile, Henrietta is the perfect balance of active pup and cuddly companion. She is initially shy when meeting someone new, but her joyful nature comes out once she gets into the park, where she is sure to entertain you while she runs and plays! Plus, her tail curls up in the cutest way when she’s having fun, and you’ll definitely catch her big, happy grin as she plays. Henrietta is also a very social girl when it comes to other dogs, especially with those her own size, and has had a lot of fun in extended doggie playgroups. She has also lived with 1-2 other dogs while at the shelter, and has done very well with them. Of course, a meet-n-greet is always suggested if other dogs live in the home. On the other hand, Henrietta is not a fan of cats, so would be best in a home without them. And here’s the best part: once Henrietta knows you, she is all about cuddles and affection! There’s nothing like a content Henrietta snuggling by your side for some quality time with her favorite human. So if you are looking for an active pup who is also a cuddle bug, then Henrietta could be your perfect best friend!

The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.

The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
