Hi there, I'm Xylene! I'm a stunning grey short-haired lady with a super soft, plush coat, born around 10/11/21. I first came to Wild Blue Cats after my person moved away and left me behind. At the time, I was pregnant and gave birth to a healthy little kitten, but I wasn't able to care for him myself. Thankfully, another mama cat stepped in to help, and I moved forward in finding my own new home. I was adopted, but I recently returned to Wild Blue because I didn't mesh well with the senior cat in the home. I tried my best, but I've realized that I'd be much happier as your one-and-only kitty to love. I'm a reserved and gentle girl who shines once I feel safe. I love a cozy lap, and when you pet me, I'll purr deeply showing my appreciation. Don't be surprised when you see me making slow motion biscuits. I don't usually ask for attention, but when you offer it, I just melt. I am a bit shy at first, especially in new surroundings, so I'll need a little time and patience to adjust. I prefer a peaceful, steady environment and would do best in a home with adults or a family with understanding teenagers who will give me the space I need to blossom. Starting me off in a small, safe space will help me feel comfortable before I explore the rest of my new home. I prefer dry food over wet, but if you offer me a Churu treat, I say yes please! Laser pointers and quiet wiggly toys are fun for a little exercise. I have so much love to give, and I can't wait to meet the person who will love me for who I am, and allow me to settle in at my own pace.
