My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Renna here! I am a true Southern beauty who was born in the woods of Alabama which is no place for sweet girl like me. I was lucky to be found (along with my siblings) and we are a part of the fortunate ones to make it into rescue. I am enjoying all the nice people in Minnesota and am eager to find my forever family!

My foster mom keeps telling everyone that she is absolutely smitten with me! I am a mild mannered, gentle, calm, sweet, and very pretty girl. My blonde soft fur and brown eyes make me a real looker! In addition to all that, I am very smart and have not hand had a single accident inside (although mom keeps me on a good schedule). I sleep quietly through the night in my crate and like to go in there on occasion to just relax. Toys, treats, and couch snuggles are an absolute favorite - who knew that life could be so good!

In addition to all these wonderful things, I am cat friendly (live with two), dog friendly (live with three), and love people. I am not vocal, and foster mom says I am a very considerate co-worker. I am still learning what it is like to live in a home, so some things still make me a little nervous. No worries though, I am gaining more confidence every day!

If you are looking for a friendly, sweet, and beautiful pup who likes to give gentles kisses and appreciates belly rubs, then look no further because I am your gal. I would fit nicely into any family who is willing to continue to teach, love, and show me the ropes of the doggy good life!

Love Renna!

All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption.

Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.

More about this rescue

The mission of Warrior Dog Rescue is to save the dogs that are homeless, left abandoned in shelters, are surrendered by their owners, those that are being abused and neglected, and those that are left wandering. We are committed to providing them the medical care they need, helping them to overcome their past by providing them loving, educated foster homes, finding them their perfect forever home by means of a thorough adoption process, and guiding them on their journey into their new life. They all deserve a “good dog life… every single one of them.”

Warrior Dog Rescue will be a model rescue by partnering with overcrowded shelters that need to make room for more abandoned dogs. We will continue to educate others about responsible dog ownership in regards to safety, spay/neuter, nutrition, obedience, socializing, abuse, and neglect. We acknowledge that we will have a role in this industry to take the lead on providing awareness to others in the community and across the country. Every dog will know what it feels like to be loved till the end of their life.
