My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi everyone! It's me, ERIN with an E! I am new to Minnesota and boy, am I happy to be here. I am an incredibly friendly girl who has spent her young life in rescue. I am enjoying living in a foster home and am more than ready to find my own family!

Some great things to know about me: I am FRIENDLY (dogs, cats, & people - you name it), SMART (I mean who wouldn't do anything for a treat), and quite CUDDLY (couch snuggles have become a quick favorite. I am also a pretty girl with blonde fur and pretty light blue eyes. Foster mom thinks the freckles on my nose and belly are darling too!

I have been learning what it is like to live in a home. I have mastered the stairs, enjoy watching TV, and have made friends with the resident dogs & cats. I sleep in my crate and have mostly done my potty business outside. Foster Mom says I am very smart so she is sure I will get this potty outside thing in no time!

We continue to work on basic commands and indoor manners. I am a quick learner, and things are going very well! There are so many new things to learn and explore, sometimes I get startled by loud noises but once I know I am ok back to puppy business and exploring I go.

I don't have a lot of specific needs. Just someone to snuggle and go on walks with who will love me and continue to teach me so I can become the best pup! One last thing, I do enjoy treats, toys, and tummy rubs (just a few minor requests)!

Thanks for considering me!
Erin (w/an E)

All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption.

Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.

More about this rescue

The mission of Warrior Dog Rescue is to save the dogs that are homeless, left abandoned in shelters, are surrendered by their owners, those that are being abused and neglected, and those that are left wandering. We are committed to providing them the medical care they need, helping them to overcome their past by providing them loving, educated foster homes, finding them their perfect forever home by means of a thorough adoption process, and guiding them on their journey into their new life. They all deserve a “good dog life… every single one of them.”

Warrior Dog Rescue will be a model rescue by partnering with overcrowded shelters that need to make room for more abandoned dogs. We will continue to educate others about responsible dog ownership in regards to safety, spay/neuter, nutrition, obedience, socializing, abuse, and neglect. We acknowledge that we will have a role in this industry to take the lead on providing awareness to others in the community and across the country. Every dog will know what it feels like to be loved till the end of their life.
