Hello there, I'm Mickey! I'm a sweet and friendly guy who loves to play. My energy knows no bounds, and I'm always up for a game of chase-the-string or a good puzzle toy. I'm also pretty smart if I do say so myself. I've figured out how to open cupboard doors to find my favorite toys! But don't worry, I'm not all go-go-go. I love a good cuddle session too. Nothing beats curling up in a warm lap and purring the day away. I'm a perfect blend of playful energy and sweet affection. I promise to bring lots of joy, laughter, and love into your life. Founded in 1971 as the Animal Aid Society of Englewood, Suncoast Humane Society began with a few cages where people left stray animals to be cared for. Over the years, our service area has grown to include over 400 square miles, covering three counties: Sarasota, Charlotte and portions of Lee.
Suncoast Humane Society provides a safe refuge for thousands of lost, abandoned and abused animals from our service area each year. We are committed to our open-door policy of never turning any animal away, regardless of health, temperament, breed or circumstances.
