Woody, a 6-year-old German Shepherd mix weighing 68 pounds, is ready to be your loyal companion! This fun and relaxed guy has a heart as big as Andy’s toy chest. Woody is affectionate, eager to learn, and always respectful—he keeps his kennel at the shelter spotless and only gives hugs when invited. With his gentle nature and quiet demeanor, he’s the perfect sidekick for life’s adventures. You’ve got a friend in Woody, and he’s ready to be your sheriff of snuggles and smiles!

His minimum adoption fee is $300 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.

He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.

Wish Bone Canine Rescue rehabilitates and re-homes dogs. We are a not-for-profit, no-kill organization located in Central Illinois, whose primary focus is to find responsible, loving and permanent homes for the surrendered, abandoned, neglected or abused dogs from within our community. We do not discriminate based on a dog’s breed, age or health . We are a foster home based rescue; however, we also have a facility where dogs are cared for until foster placement or adoption.
